I am an artist lucky enough to be living in the stunning rainforest of Far North Queensland and have this as well as the Great Barrier Reef as my inspiration. Recently we purchased both a caravan and a boat, so I am able to travel to some of the most beautiful places in Australia, take photos, walk and of course sketch and paint.

This country offers serenity, peace and calm for those who are willing to experience it, both inland among the red dirt and scrub, and along our sapphire and turquoise beaches.  I hope to travel inland more this year so expect to see some red amongst the blues!

I have found some places that just beg you to paint them, to look at and get lost in the calmness of the nature surrounding them. You can almost feel the peace and calm as a presence and these spots are my inspiration. I hope you can share a little of my calm amidst the chaos of life.
