Earl Hill Conqueror

A 19.5 x 19.5cm study for a larger work, inspired by my daughter-in-law, who tackles this hill a couple of times a week, and sends me photos from the top. ‘Coastwatchers’ climbed this hill daily during WW2 to keep watch for Japanese planes and submarines along this part of the Cairns Coastline.
